The Mold Resistant
Finished Basement

Quality in
construction is not always visible, as in basement finishing for
example. I have researched the problems of mold in basements
and have built into my construction, precautionary measures to
insure your family is as safe as possible from the effects of
mold. Mold is in every basement, it just doesn't show as
much in dry basements.
The
insulation is the best that can be installed.

The
metal studs prohibit the growth of mold, unlike the
wood
stud that is a food source for the mold.
|
The
wall board is specifically designed for basements.
|
This
basement will have a mold resistant drop ceiling
installed
after the painting is completed.

The cold and damp concrete has been covered with a wood subfloor, which requires only one inch for installation. Carpet over the wood subfloor provides a much warmer and more comfortable room than over concrete.
